In addition to the first part of her Ian interview, Nuzhat Naoreen has posted the next (and last, unfortunately) one. Somerhalder discusses Damon’s position at the end of 211, his feelings for Elena, etc. Also, he drops some hints about a bathtub scene where he’s ”naked in the shower in about an hour, and Damon’s taking a bubble bath with candlelight and a glass of wine”. Yeah, that episode is definitely not to be missed. Bless you, Julie and Kev!
“I think he’s got a pretty tough road with her. I mean his actions consistently demonstrate what she truly abhors, you know, which is selfishness, death and destruction. I mean, Elena is the complete antithesis of that,” Ian said. Right, well we could see how that’s a problem…but luckily so does Damon. “I think that he wants so desperately to be in her good graces and he realizes that he screwed up.”
