News

According to the CW primetime schedule posted over at SpoilerTV episode 20 of the Vampire Diaries has the rather ominous sounding title of The Last Day.

Entertainment Weekly have some details from Julie Plec on what’s in store for Damon regarding his treatment of Andie, and also rising tensions between Damon and Stefan.

Julie Plec says we’ll get to see Elena’s and Stefan’s reactions to Damon’s decision to use mind compulsion on local TV news reporter Andie Star (Dawn Olivieri) to make her his substitute girlfriend/blood donor. “We won’t hit that for a few more episodes, but there will be that moment when Damon’s desire to distract himself from his feelings for Elena blow up in his face, and the allure of Andie starts to leave a bit of a sour taste.”

Zap2it chats to Nina and Sara, People’s video with Canning + Assignment X’s Candice interview

Zap2it recently chatted with two “Vampire Diaries” stars – Nina Dobrev and Sara Canning (click for read the chats). In her interview with Nina, Carina Mackenzie does her best to find out if Katherine gets her way out of the tomb any time soon. For that, she goes straight to executive producer Julie Plec and Nina herself. Continue to read for the scoop and visit Zap2it for more.

So you can bet Dobrev is looking forward to Katherine taking a nice long bath when she climbs out of that cave. “She’s plotting her way out,” she says. “She’s a woman who likes to be in control and when she’s not, she’s not happy.”

On the other hand, Sara gushes to Carina about tonight’s episode (215) and Aunt Jenna’s attitude towards Alaric and Elijah both. She also talks about the Sommers storyline and if she or Matt will learn the truth behind Mystic Falls by the end of the season. The full interview is up over at Zap2it.

People Magazine has a video interview with Canning where she explains her vampire obsession. She also reveals what supernatural creature she’d like to be. Watch the entire thing at People’s site.

And Assignment X had the chance to talk to Candice Accola. She spills up about Caroline in season 2, her friendship with Elena and Bonnie, what’s ahead for mother and daughter and more. Find an extract below and go here for the rest of the chat.

AX: It seems like Caroline still wants to maintain her friendships from high school with human Elena and witch Bonnie [Katerina Graham], though is the friendship with Bonnie still a struggle, with Bonnie being so anti-vampire?

ACCOLA: The relationships amongst the women on the show have gotten a little bit sidetracked throughout this season, just because, whether it’s romantic triangles or whether it’s [other problems], they’ve got their own personal dramas that they’re trying to figure out. In the episodes coming up, you will start to see the women leaning on each other a little bit more, which is a beautiful thing, because you need those friendships.

Chats, chats, chats: Zimbio interview with Sara Canning, Dawn Olivieri talks to TV Guide & EW + Steven spills up to The TV Chick

Thanks to Vampire-Diaries.net for the heads up on this Zimbio chat with Sara Canning. She comments on her career before the show, castmate Matt Davis and shooting love scenes with him. Tonight’s episode is also mentioned. Read the entire story over at Zimbio.

Zimbio: What is your typical day like filming on Vampire Diaries?
Sara: Getting up really early. I do a vocal warm-up in my car. Then I show up to set and go into hair and makeup; there’s anywhere from one to six of us in there at any time. The cast are my really great friends but also great people to watch work. We all jive together really well. Last week I shot a scene with six other cast members, it was all of us, for one day, in one room, shooting a bunch of scenes. And we just looked at each other and were like, ‘How good do we have it?’

Guest star Dawn Olivieri was interviewed this week, too. Robyn Ross has a wonderful chat with her up at TV Guide. She teases tonight’s “dinner party”, what the future holds for her and how long Andie will stick around town.

Mandi Bierly caught up with Dawn as well. The star dishes about Damon’s compulsion on her character, how it affects her as well as the struggle she’s going through. Visit Inside TV for all this + some great stories.

Also, The TV Chick posted her interview with Steven R. McQueen today. The actor discusses THE kiss, the consequences of it, the relationship between the Gilberts, etc. And here’s what he’d like to see next for Jeremy:

And what would you like to see from Jeremy coming up in the 2nd half of season 2? He’s really taken on this nice big role.
I think it’d be interesting to see him be more involved with his family legacy and starting to get involved with the training of being a vampire hunter. Whether Alaric takes him under his wing, or Uncle John, and just kind of get mentored in the right direction.

First look at Hillywood Show’s parody, important character to appear in late April

The Hillywood Show just tweeted they were editing their “Vampire Diaries” parody. This show is different that the other ones out there. And when I say different, I mean light years away. It’s a great mix between entertainment and good acting. A few days ago, they released the first still from the parody featuring tomb Katherine. The whole thing is coming late February. Thanks, Vampire Diaries Online!

The always reliable Ausiello from TV Line got some “Vampire Diaries” scoop, again. Quite a scoop. MAJOR SPOILERS: According to the reporter, Joseph Morgan makes his debut as Klaus on April 21st. Mark your calendars everyone!

Question: My birthday is this week and I was wondering if I could get some scoop on The Vampire Diaries? —Dianna Amy S
Ausiello:
Save this date: Thursday, April 21. That’s when Joseph Morgan debuts as Klaus!

Spoilers and news

This week has brought “Vampire Diaries” fans a lot of scoop. First, Mega Buzz posted an interesting snippet from Julie Plec saying “the vampire-werewolf conflict is going to go from a simmer to a boil.” The executive producer also comments on Tyler and Jules’s relationship status, visit TV Guide for the entire story.

Julie Plec talked to one more TV Guide reporter - Carita Rizo. In Julie’s chat with her (which you can find here), she discusses Klaus (how surprising, isn’t it?), how the curse will affect Rose and everyone else as well as what’s ahead for Damon and Elena.

Gabrielle Compolongo posted part two of her interview with Plec. The writer compares Klaus vs. Elijah, teases the Originals, the Katherine-stuck-in-the-tomb situation, Luka and his dad, etc. Plus, she answers the question whether Elena and Damon will ever get together. Head over to TV Fanatic to find out, but first, read on to understand what you can look forward to when the show returns.

In a summation, what can you tell us about the second half of season two?
We’ve set a lot of things in motion, and we’re going to come to the end of what we’re calling our werewolf chapter, which will really take that story to a really dark place and really change a lot of characters’ lives, not necessarily in a good way. We are going to dig deeper into the secrets of our new witches and what Bonnie’s role is going to be in their story, and of course, it’s all about the fear of the impending Klaus, and who’s going to be fighting on who’s side, who’s bond is with who, who’s going to betray whom, and is this curse going to be lifted at the hands of a sacrifice that would kill Elena. We’re full steam ahead.

Los Angeles Times has a nice review of Nina’s quotes said at the CW Winter TCA Panel and Party last week. The actress comments on playing the very different from one another Elena and Katherine. She also shares her speculations about whether or not Ms. Pierce will come out of the tomb, if Elena will keep her promise to Elijah and more. Read the full article at Show Tracker.

Ian Somerhalder hasn’t dallied, too. He recently revealed PopWatch what Damon’s bedroom looked like. Kevin and Julie joined him to talk about his character’s bathroom. According to them, there will be a bath scene in one episode, and a shower scene in the next. We couldn’t ask for more, could we? Check out the rest of the interview over at Entertainment Weekly.

Michael Trevino on tonight’s transformation: “I’ve never been more challenged as an actor.”

JH: So, Michael, the change is coming this week. How freaked out are we all going to be?

Michael Trevino: I just did a looping session yesterday and so I saw a cut with some special effects and it’s intense. It doesn’t happen quick. It doesn’t happen in an instant. It’s very long and it’s a very, very painful process and it lasts the entire episode so that’s what’s going to happen. We shot it over two days and I’ve never been more challenged as an actor.

Episode 12 title revealed, Rose’s not gone

Thanks to @LEXpressions & Vampire-Diaries.net for the heads up on Jason Ferguson’s online resume. His character, Eddie, will visit town late January. Particularly, in episode 12 titled “The Descent”.

Wondering what happened to Rose after her little escape? Well, looks like she liked it in Mystic Falls. The 500-year-old vampire will team up with the Salvatores once again to help them with a “mysterious mission”. The trio will pay a visit to a vampire savant who will give them a hand (for something in return, of course). Thanks, TV Guide!

Are we going to see Rose again on The Vampire Diaries? — Michelle
ADAM:
Yep, and sooner than you think. I’m hearing that she’ll pop back up in order to help Damon and Stefan with a mysterious mission. First stop on their quest: a visit to another vampire savant who knows everything about everything in the world of bloodsuckers. He’s willing to hand over the dangerous info Damon and Stefan seek — but only in exchange for a day-walking ring.

‘Vampire Diaries’ exclusive: Nina Dobrev talks this week’s steamy sex scene (and the resulting bruises)

The promo for Thursday’s midseason finale of The Vampire Diaries (The CW, 8 p.m. ET) shows the unthinkable happening: Stefan (Paul Wesley), now trapped in the tomb with Katherine (Nina Dobrev), giving in to her. If the teaser is any indication (watch it below), it could be the hottest captive sex scene since a certain cage encounter on Lost. “First, Jeremy getting trapped in the tomb was like, Katherine wins! When Stefan came in, she’s like, ‘Wow, I couldn’t have planned this better if I tried. The one person I want to be stuck with, here he is, and now he’s got nowhere to go. I will seduce him, I will tease him, I will anger him.’ The line between love and hate truly is very, very thin,” Dobrev says. “So she has a chance to egg him on, and he can’t do anything about it. He has no choice but to listen, and yeah, it is a very kind of sexy, manipulative scene, and he gives in. It’s pretty crazy.”

Casting Scoop – Meet the Newest Vampire Diaries Hottie!

Mason Lockwood (Taylor Kinney) may be dead, but his werewolfy legacy lives on.

Insiders confirm to us that a young actor named Stephen Amell is coming to CW’s The Vampire Diaries as a character with a connection to Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) gorgeous uncle. So who is this new kid, exactly, and what role does he play in Mystic Falls’ ongoing werewolf-vampire shenanigans? Here’s what we can reveal:

Producers tell us this about Amell’s character: “Stephen plays Brady—an old friend of Mason Lockwood who blows into town with a vengeance. [He's a] loyal friend or your worst enemy depending on who you are. Did we mention he was hot?” (We believe you about the hotness—good looks and the werewolf gene are quite obviously linked!)

‘Vampire Diaries’: Michael Trevino and Candice Accola tease ‘painful’ werewolf transformation

By Carina Adly MacKenzie

If, like me, you stalk (er… follow) “The Vampire Diaries” stars on Twitter, you probably noticed when resident Mystic Falls werewolf-in-training Michael Trevino tweeted, “A Vampire transformation is NOTHING compared to a Werewolf transformation in Mystic Falls. Those suckers have it easy.”

Heh. “Suckers.”

When Trevino and co-star Candice Accola visited the Zap2it offices last week, I had to get the scoop – especially considering how Accola has been playing out Caroline’s vampire transformation this season.

Five hot secrets

Enough with that pesky Edward Cullen and his family-friendly vampire brood! There’s no denying that The CW’s The Vampire Diaries grabbed a good portion of the bloodsucking market this season, and the whole cast is coming back for in the second round!

And, trust, we know that plenty of you are into the fangy fun of it, too.

The hot vamp show stars the adorable Nina Dobrev, bad-boy Paul Wesley and Lost alum Ian Somerhalder in a ferocious mix of teen melodrama and supernatural fantasy. But what really goes down behind the scenes on the sweaty, steamy set in Atlanta, Georgia?

We recently caught up with stars Candice Accola and Steven R. McQueen, who play ex-mega-bitch Caroline and screwed-up outsider Jeremy, and wrenched a few droplets of bloody cast dish from them:

They still get starstruck.

Accola’s intimidated by iconic women, none more so than Diane Keaton. “I had the opportunity to meet her on the way to the pilot,” she says. “She sat behind Kayla [Ewell] and I was on the airplane. I was all ready to say, ‘You are an inspiration to young women everywhere!’ and all that came out was, ‘You are, like, awesome!’ Ha. That’s how suave I get.”

They like other vampires.

“I’ve been on a True Blood kick,” says Accola, who also plans to see Eclipse when she and the other girls reconvene in Atlanta in July to begin filming. “Definitely by the time we get back.”

Meanwhile, McQueen is a fervent Team Edward supporter.

“Vampires are just cool, you know?” he says, adding. “They just have some sort of rebel authority that’s kind of cool.”

They’re humble.

Like many young stars today, they remember where they come from.

“I was working in an ice rink before all this,” laughs McQueen. “Work became not only a gift, but therapeutic as well…the entire experience has been a blessing.” Accola agrees. “It’s amazing,” she says. “It’s just wonderful that everyone’s enjoying watching it as much as we are making it.”

They cause trouble on set.

“We’re constantly doing pranks, most of which I can’t talk about ’cause they’re kind of, you know, mum’s the word sort of things,” says McQueen.

Accola’s adds: “We don’t really joke around too much because it’s a lot to do in a little amount of time, but biggest troublemaker? Nina, for sure. She’s the sneakiest.”

They kinda, sorta, don’t really, or do they, hook up.

Both kids braced the question of on-set romance with enough hesitation and nervous laughter to make us double-take.

“I’m sure by the end of all these seasons, everyone’s gonna say that we’ve all dated each other,” says Accola. When asked about Nina and Ian’s rumored romance, McQueen said, “I wish I knew.” When asked about Nina and himself, he said, “I wish I knew.”

Hmm. Wish we did, too.

‘Vampire Diaries’ exclusiv: David Anders a supravietuit?

‘Vampire Diaries' exclusiv: David Anders a supravietuit?

Chiar daca in ultimul episod din sezonul 1, Katherine, dandu-se drept Elena, l-a atacat brutal pe John, portretizat de David Anders, acesta confirma ca se va intoarce in primul episod al sezonului 2. Dar ce se va mai intampla?

Totul a ramas in aer,” spune David. “Inca nu mi-au acceptat propunerea. Cred ca personajul mai are multe de oferit. Dar in cele din urma este alegerea lui Kevin Williamson.”

Chiar daca John ar putea supravietui atacului — tipul s-a ales cu degetele taiate si cu o rana destul de adanca. — dar Anders le aminteste fanilor ca, “Oamenii nu mor intotdeauna in urma injunghierilor.”

Elena si Katherine face to face in "Vampire Diaries"

In urmatorul sezon din The Vampire Diaries, Elena (Nina Dobrev) va ajunge fata in fata cu Katherine (Nina Dobrev) - acesta este si debutul Ninei in acest domeniu.

18 iunie - Ai auzit ultimile noutati din Louisiana , despre “Prius cabana suite”?

Astfel numeste actorul Ian Somerhalder locul in care a stat peste noapte.
